Our goal is to help surfers feel confident, comfortable, and ready for any kind of wave. We set out to create the perfect surf hat, one that stays secure in wipeouts, doesn’t flop in your face, protects you from the sun, and performs session after session. Our mission is simple: help more people keep doing what they love with fewer worries about the ‘what ifs.’

About the Founder
Hi, I am Silvia, founder of Surf Halo, mum of two, and a surfer who found the waves later in life. I started surfing in my late twenties and, like many adult learners, had to push through a lot of fear to find my flow. Surfing became my reset button.
Now raising a young ocean loving family in Austinmer, Australia, the ocean is part of our everyday life. As I began teaching my kids to surf, I became more aware of how important the right gear is for feeling confident and comfortable in the water.
I kept searching for a surf hat that had everything I needed. One that stayed on during wipeouts, did not flop into my eyes, protected from the sun, and offered options for extra protection when I wanted it. Nothing felt truly complete. I did not want to choose between comfort, performance, or safety. I wanted a surf hat that simply worked in every way.
That is how Surf Halo began.
